Commission: Songhue

This is a commission I made for of her character called Songhue. Big thanks to her for offering me this signment! It was a lot of fun.

"She was never one to share her own tale too often. The most frequent word used to describe her was evasive, perhaps mysterious. She neither spoke of her past, nor did she mention any longing for the future. Very little was known of her, at least as far as almost all beings were concerned.

Rarely, she would let some small history slip her lips, and even then only a small amount to those she truly trusted. More often than not this small piece of history was seen as a great deal of information, yet this was never the case. Her history, her story, was so complex and went back so far as to take lifetimes to tell properly. Lifetimes she had lived already, as each new realm was as another life, with more stories, more history, more to be shared.

Yet Star Shine, known by so many other names with so many other faces in so many other realms, did not share her own stories. She did not tell of this companion, nor of any other tale she could share of herself.

I must say I really enjoyed working with this piece. It was also a bit challenging since all the resources I used are my own. I had taken many beautiful shots on my trip to Keukenhof last year and they proved to be quite useful when I created the background. Some details such as hair I painted with Wacoom tablet. I really hope you like this piece!
